The author's writing style is easy to read with plenty of realistic examples of what one might encounter in a veterinary practice. Lists of drugs are arranged in tables describing their names, functions, and occasionally their side effects. The only downside is the CD's AccuCal tests; while the CD helps one study the tests are very simple in that if you word the answer slightly differently (i.e. BID means twice a day not two times a day or twice daily) it is automatically counted as wrong causing frustration for the test taker. Other than that the book is EXCELLENT

Great textbook. The diagrams and procedures are very helpful. I would recommend buying the workbook also I just wish you could get the answers to the workbook also.
