This is a great tool to get a super solid foundation of medical terms built. It's great that you can take them all with you or just a few. Prefixes, suffixes and roots of words. I'm a visual learner so this was great. Some of them even have pictures on! High quality cards. The Dr at work went through them with me to help with pronunciation. These are an essential addition to one's resource library as you proceed through your Veterinary Medicine program and a great supplement to the Veterinary Technician Terminology text. The pictures are great ; very helpful to the visual learner when studying. Remember, you are essentially learning 2 new languages here: Greek ; Latin. That is why medical terminology can be so difficult for some. The cards are easily portable ; can be reviewed even for 5 minutes while waiting in line, etc.
