This book is amazing for it's size. There is so much content, all of which is important. It is well written and well organized. For the new grad, a practitioner needing a brush up, or a practitioner interested in stepping into the world of exotic medicine this is a great book to keep on the shelf. For the seasoned practitioner it's probably not a necessity but perhaps still a good reference for the species you rarely see or just are not as familiar with.
The book is so easy to read I actually found myself just reading it like a novel. For my tastes it is organized well and provides very helpful information to assist me in making good decisions while also clearly letting me see when I am out of my league and need to refer!
